We became regulars on our recent long weekend trip to Bournemouth for my hen do. The breakfast & brunch options are great and super yummy. The English Breakfast was done just the way it should be (non-vegan places just can't do a decent vegan English breakfast!) and the portion was big. But the highlight was probably the pancakes which were just devine. Highly recommend!

We had the Oyster Mushroom Sandwich and the Power Bowl with Potato Wedges. All were delicious and well presented. We also had the Carrot Cake and the Chocolate Tart which were lovely too. Very good service and a nice ambiance.

Food was tasty and filling. Waitresses were attractive, friendly and competent. Prices were fair. Background ambient noise was an acceptable level. The very antithesis to your average McDonald's experience. Couldn't fault it at all. Nice one guys

Yumbles! I stumbled across this unassuming but busy little vegan cafe. Desperate for something heathy to eat I bought their beetroot hummus salad and berry smoothie. Absolutely lovely, so healthy and served with a smile. Hurrah! They also sell protein shakes for those who’ve just staggered out of the gym :-). PS you need fat to properly absorb protein so just enjoy the fatty peanuts and oils present in the food and stop fussing.

We being a vegetarian family were tired of finding limited vegetarian options at restaurants, and when we came across this vegan restaurant, we were eager to try, mainly because we didn’t have to go through the hassle of identifying which dishes were suitable for us. This restaurant exceeded our expectations with food and service and ambience. There were board games and books that were available for us to play and read while we waited for our food. It was nice to see so many options on the menu, plus the specials board. Loved it so much that I went for lunch on one day and breakfast on the day after. If I come back to Bournemouth again, I will definitely visit the Mad Cucumber again
